Develore's collaboration with the Animal Welfare Centre has lasted since 2012. The client receives all necessary services from a single source.

The Animal Welfare Centre grapples with the same challenges as many other small or medium-sized organizations: the need for building and developing websites is evident, but their own expertise and resources are not sufficient for this.

When the welfare center identified this problem, it was time to search for a partner.

Develore was selected as a partner based on recommendations through networks and competitive bidding. The collaboration has already lasted over ten years.

Develore has built websites and applications for the Animal Welfare Centre and also maintains them. The center doesn't need to do anything other than publish content on the sites.

- "We could never manage the websites on our own," says special expert Tiina Kauppinen.

Things are not explained too complexly

Develore's way of working has suited the Animal Welfare Centre particularly well. The client doesn't necessarily need to understand anything about technologies and software industry jargon.

- "I explain the needs to them in my own words, and they can tell me the solutions and possibilities in an understandable way. I appreciate that Develore doesn't explain things to the client too complexly," Kauppinen praises.

Develore is not just a technical implementer for the Animal Welfare Centre. The software architects have brought many new development ideas to the table along the way.

- It's great that Develore approaches things proactively and also comes up with ideas. They don't immediately cough up objections to our thoughts but look for solutions without prejudice.

Develore was particularly successful in building the "Animal as Food" guide. on the www.elaintieto.fi site. The "Cattle Life Tree" application has also received praise.

- There was a clear spike in visitor numbers after the publications, and visitor numbers are still growing. We've also managed to keep the site fresh, so it continues to interest people.

Relaxation and unhurriedness builds trust

For the Animal Welfare Centre, which operates as part of the Natural Resources Institute Finland, it's absolutely crucial that all technological services related to websites and digital channels are obtained from one and the same place.

- I'm really satisfied that Develore has clarified for us all matters related to information security, accessibility, and social media channel compatibility, among other things.

- "We've also gotten all kinds of tests and other gizmos for our sites through them," says Tiina Kauppinen.

In Kauppinen's opinion, Develore's services are especially suitable for organizations that want to get everything they need from one place quickly and without extra bureaucracy. And in a way that even a layperson understands what it's all about.

- I particularly appreciate that we regularly sit down calmly to think and chat about what we might do next. This kind of unhurried conversation is a good way to build trust.
